Lily R. is a former Voice of the People Board Member and longtime resident of affordable housing. After working with Voice staff for more than 6 months, Lily qualified for a CHA First Time Home Buyers grant and purchased a home. Lily shared, “Affordable housing made this possible. Without rent I could afford and the support system Voice gave me, I wouldn’t be here today. I hope other [residents] use you as a resource because it changed my life.”
