Everyone deserves the chance to live in a great community.
Voice of the People Chicago promotes, provides and supports the creation and preservation of the highest quality affordable housing in Uptown and Chicago citywide. We empower people of low income through engagement in advocacy, housing and community development efforts, property management and resident services.
Property & Asset Management
We preserve and manage high-quality, permanently affordable housing where residents can thrive in safe, stable, and well-maintained homes. Voice provides homes to more than 700 low-income residents.
Resident Opportunity Services
We connect residents with personalized support, resources, and opportunities that promote housing stability, financial security and well-being. Each year, 1,200 community members access supportive services through Voice.
Voice Owners Network
We equip affordable housing owners and community partners with technical assistance, resources, and collaborative solutions to preserve and expand affordable housing. These collaborations have the potential to save owners tens of thousands of dollars, which can make the difference between the loss of an affordable building and saving hundreds of homes for low-income families
We work with low-income residents, providing affordable homes and supportive services to ensure they stay housed and their needs are met. We also partner with affordable housing owners to preserve and sustain the housing they provide.
